Plot Under the Shell. The third film in the «28 Days Later» franchise.. The sequel was originally going to be called 28 Months Later, continuing the timeline motif of the film’s title. However, with so much time since we last returned to this world in 2007 (28 Weeks Later), it was decided that it would be more appropriate to call the film 28 Years Later. 28 Years Later – Part II: Bones.
